CyberOwl raises £1.8m in latest funding round

London and Birmingham based cybersecurity startup, CyberOwl ishas raised a further £1.8m to enable to it expand its business in the maritime sector. The company has created a platform designed to safeguard transport and infrastructure systems

CyberOwl has secured funding from 24 Haymarket, Mercia’s EIS funds, and the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund, which is managed by Mercia as part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.

ForgeRock to expand UK presence following recent funding round

ForgeRock have announced that they are to expand their UK operations in order to keep up with their growing client list. Forgerock, based in Bristol and London currently employs over 200 people in the UK – a third of its global workforce. Its growing customer list includes BBC, BMW and the Department for Work & Pensions.

CVC announces the acquisition of Skroutz

London based CVC have announced the acquisition of Skroutz, a Greece-base e-commerce platform. Founded in 2005, the company connects six million online shoppers with more than 4,500 merchants. Its website is the 4th most visited in Greece, following behind Google, Facebook and YouTube, it claims.
